This was my room in Byron Bay. I took this photo on my film camera of a friend when she wasn’t looking. I loved this space so much. All the walls were white and the breeze was nice coming in from the window. Outside it looked like the jungle. The suburb was called Lily Pilly.

This Sunday I went to Manly Beach. Solo travel can be lonely sometimes but I find what helps is staying very present in your surroundings. I would sit there and imagine what it was like to be apart of their story, these strangers on the ferry.

I think this was called Pine Beach. It has an eerie resemblance to the surface of Mars. It was the middle of Australian winter in Victoria and the wind was a bitter cold but the sun felt warm. We could see Philip Island in the distance.
